Stormy Weather
Kristen Howe
Grey puffy clouds loom in the night time sky,
Trees lashed by a fierce, cold wintry wind,
Waves foaming on the lake-ripples flowing with the
tides.
Once blue, the lake seems grey,
Snowflakes and rain fall
together,
Contrasting against the black backdrop,
Orbs of white and gold city lights accent the stormy
weather.
